Policy
The Spits Foundation was established on October 1st, 2025 by Hergen Spits.
As a private foundation we aim to make a lasting contribution to high-quality scientific research in immunology and vaccine development.
We do this by:
> providing financial support to early-career researchers whose work is carried out at research institutions that fit our objectives like those of the Amsterdam UMC, the NKI or Sanquin
> where the board unanimously agrees, also supporting other institutes that align with our mission.
